Jean-Jacques Martinod grew up in Guayaquil, Ecuador, where at age 17 he started working on TV and local independent documentaries. He moved to North America and in 2010 attended the University of North Carolina School of the Arts School of Filmmaking in Winston-Salem, NC. While developing his first films he also worked as a film inspector and projectionist for the UNCSA Moving Image Archive where he devoted himself to the restoration and preservation of lost and neglected films. He curated a film program where the main purpose was to showcase some of the more eclectic prints of the archive’s collection alongside experimental films developed by local filmmakers. He continues to work on his filmmaking, exhibiting his work in festivals and other venues across the world.

Raised in Alabama, Olivia started working on films at the age of 14. She attended film school at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts where she majored in Production Design while developing an interest in documentary work independently. She has attended both the Penland School of Crafts and the Maine Media Workshops. Her curiosity spans a wide range of media- from papier-mâché and mold making to pinhole photography and square dancing. All of these passions have intensified since moving to New Orleans after graduating  from University in 2013. Upon arriving to the city she so dearly loved, she briefly worked in the Mardi Gras float building industry, further sparking her interest in the event. She spends most of her time traveling and taking photos with her holga these days.
